About CertStreakBot

CertStreakBot fetches public credential pages on behalf of the person who holds the credential, when they ask us to verify it. It reads Credly public profiles and Microsoft Learn public transcripts only.

How it behaves

• Identifies itself with this User-Agent and this page.
• At most one request per second per host, fifteen-second timeout, five-megabyte cap.
• Re-checks each source about once a day with jitter, backing off exponentially on errors.
• Never follows redirects off the original host and only ever uses HTTPS.
• Respects robots.txt.
• We display badge artwork by linking to the issuer’s own CDN and never copy or re-host it.
